Learn Photovoltaic Principles and Applications at COD’s PaCE Training

The College of the Desert will offer three sessions of photovoltaic training.

PALM DESERT, CA— College of the Desert’s (COD) Partnership and Community Education (PaCE) program has scheduled three sessions of photovoltaic training.

The Solar Photovoltaic Principles and Applications training includes 60-hours of classroom lecture to prepare participants for the certification exam, GRID Alternatives hands-on experience installing a solar system, job fair with local industry vendors, and an opportunity to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Entry Level Exam.

Three sessions are scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., September 20 through November 10, 2016, Jan. 24 through March 16, 2017, and April 25 to June 16, 2017. All training is on the Palm Desert Campus. Cost is $995. For more information about the program and for financial aid, call 760.862.1396.
