Living Desert Zoo To Host 'Howl-O-Ween' In Palm Desert
Palm Desert's famed botanical garden zoo is hosting a special "fang-tastic" Halloween event. Here's what to know.
PALM DESERT, CA — Prepare your costume for a special event in nature at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens this weekend — it's poised to be a "fang-tastic" time for the whole family.
The Howl-O-Ween event will allow guests to wander through the park to enjoy pop-up surprises and tons of activities for all ages.
Children and adults alike can explore trick-or-treat stations, all know limited edition animal trading cards, "bewitching" keeper connections, festive face painting, fall photo opportunities and more.

All guests of the zoo are urged to be sustainable by bringing a re-useable bag for trick-or-treating and re-using or thrifting items for your costume, the zoo said.
While guests of all ages are welcome and encouraged to come costumed, weapons, obscenity or anything that could disturb either people or animals are prohibited. Also, adult costumes may not include a full face mask.

Discounted tickets for Howl-O-Ween are available for active o retired military personnel as well as SNAP/EBT cardholders. Those tickets can be found here.
The Living Desert Zoo has been open in Palm Desert for more than 50 years and is home to more than 150 species of animals. The property sits on 1,200 protected acres with miles of hiking trails available to the public.
