Man Killed In Freeway Crash Near Palm Springs ID'd
The single-vehicle rollover crash happened around 4 a.m. near Highway 62, police said.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — The Riverside County coroner's office identified the 37-year-old man killed Saturday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash on eastbound Interstate 10 in the unincorporated Whitewater area near Palm Springs.
The crash occurred about 4 a.m. near Highway 62, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicle landed on its roof about 30 feet down an embankment on the right side of the freeway, the CHP said.

Firefighters found the vehicle and pronounced a person inside dead at the scene, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The person was later identified as Joshua Kunkle of La Quinta, the coroner's office said.
