Man Killed In I-10 Crash ID'd As Palm Springs Resident

The 41-year-old man died at the scene.

INDIO, CA — A man killed over the weekend on Interstate 10 in Indio was identified Monday as a Palm Springs resident.

Juan Reyes, 41, died at the scene of the two-vehicle crash reported at approximately 2:39 a.m. Sunday on the westbound side of the freeway, about a half-mile east of Jefferson Street, according to the coroner's bureau.

Two other people were injured in the crash. Both were transported by ground ambulance to area hospitals with moderate injuries, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The crash cause is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
