PALM SPRINGS, CA — Motley Crüe has canceled its recently announced New Year's Eve concert in Riverside County.
Production issues were cited. In a social media post Thursday, the rock group wrote: “It is with deep regret we must inform you the Crüe Year’s Eve show in Palm Springs is being canceled. The very short time frame to produce the event resulted in issues beyond our control. We look forward to seeing you all in 2024!”
The concert was to take place at Acrisure Arena in greater Palm Springs. The band's statement was reposted by venue officials, though no information was immediately available about whether ticket-holders will be refunded or whether a replacement performance will be scheduled for the New Year's Eve show.
