Motorcyclist Dies After I-10 Crash With Big Rig
The 33-year-old man died early Friday from his injuries after his motorcycle was involved in a crash in Indio.
INDIO, CA — A 33-year-old man died early Friday from his injuries after his motorcycle and an Indio crash.
Just after 11:15 p.m. On Thursday, a motorcycle and a big rig crashed on Monroe Street south of Interstate 10, according to the Indio Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers found a man in the roadway with significant injuries.

Paramedics initiated lifesaving measures, and he was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead Friday morning, the department said. His name was not revealed, pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the big rig was not injured and cooperated with investigators.

Monroe Street was temporarily closed between Oleander Avenue and Interstate 10, and was reopened at 2:54 a.m. Friday.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
