Multiple Cars, Motor Homes Catch Fire In Thermal

THERMAL, CA — Firefighters Tuesday were battling multiple vehicles and motor homes in Thermal that were fully ablaze, authorities said.

Crews arrived at the 88700 block of Avenue 68 at around 2 p.m. to battle the fire according to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

It was not immediately known what ignited the fire, but there were no injuries reported.

The fire's spread has been stopped as of 3 p.m. according to Cal Fire and officials expected to remain in the area until at least 4:30 p.m.
