Palm Desert Missing Man Found Two Days Later
A Silver Alert was canceled for a man last seen at 7 p.m. Sunday near Monterey Avenue and Royal Palm Drive in Palm Desert.
PALM DESERT, CA — The California Highway Patrol Tuesday deactivated a Silver Alert after locating a 70-year-old man who went missing in Palm Desert.
Rudolfo Gutierrez-Alvarez had last been seen at about 7 p.m. Sunday near Monterey Avenue and Royal Palm Drive in Palm Desert, according to the CHP.
He was located by Tuesday afternoon.

The CHP issues a Silver Alert when an elderly, developmentally or cognitively impaired person is missing and determined to be at risk to aid in their swift recovery.
