PikaZoo: The Living Desert to Host Three Pokemon Go Events
PikaZoo will take place Saturday evenings August 27 through September 10.

PALM DESERT/INDIAN WELLS, CA – The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens will host PikaZoo, three Saturday evening Pokemon Go events on August 27, September 3 and September 10, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10 per person and all proceeds go towards The Living Desert education and conservation programs.
The Living Desert is home to more than 25 PokeStops and 4 Gyms. Plus, 15 lure modules will be dropped all around the park throughout the evening.

“Pokemon Go provides the perfect opportunity for guests to get outside, walk through the gardens, maybe see some nocturnal animals and increase the level of their game, all in a safe environment,” said Dawn Petrick, Director of Park Services. “We had more than 750 attendees at our first PikaZoo event and are looking forward to the next three.”
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. The event is open to people of all ages, and participants aged 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available at the door or advanced tickets can be purchased here.

The Living Desert recommends people bring a fully-charged mobile phone, portable charger pack, water bottle, comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a hat.
