Power Outage At This RivCo Hospital Lasts Into Friday
SoCal Edison's Outage map informed residents of the power outage at the cardiac and orthopedic center.

PALM DESERT, CA — A power outage at Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage temporarily affected the cardiology and orthopedic centers on Friday.
Shortly after 11 p.m., Thursday, the power at the hospital, at 39000 Bob Hope Drive, went out according to Southern California Edison's outage map.
The cause was not immediately apparent.

The number of patients who were affected by the power loss was not immediately known. However, the center stated many were asked to reschedule their appointments. Power was restored to the area by 2 p.m., according to the outage map.
Nearby, on Friday, over 100 customers were affected by an SCE maintenance outage. The outage at Monterey Country Club began at 8 a.m. and was expected to be restored to power for approximately 176 customers by 3:30 p.m.

Customers affected were in the area of Camino Arroyo North and Conejo Circle and Joya Drive.

"Our crew turned the power off so they could work safely," Edison's outage map said. "The outage would remain in effect while the crew performed upgrades."
