Renovations Underway At Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa
The project for client Trinity Real Estate Investments comes a year after the investment firm purchased the 36-acre Indian Wells property.
INDIAN WELLS, CA — Originally opened in 1989, the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa has undergone renovations over the years and more recently. Its look will change again by the time guests arrive for the 2024 spring break season.
California-based R.D. Olson Construction announced Thursday that it was hired to renovate the resort's 10,000-square-foot lobby, bar and restaurant areas to reflect a "desert-chic environment, embracing neutral tones, custom carved woodwork and high-end metal finishings."

The ongoing renovations are being undertaken "to ensure that construction activities do not interfere with the resort’s day-to-day business. The 530-key hotel will remain open during the renovation process," according to R.D. Olson Construction.
“We are committed to providing a first-class experience for our client Hyatt Regency and their valued guests,” said Bill Wilhelm, president of R.D. Olson Construction. “Construction at a luxury hotel should always be as minimally impactful as possible, so we are proud to be trusted with this important renovation.”
