RivCo Man Killed In Suspected DUI Crash Near Whitewater ID'd
The 28-year-old from Cathedral City was a passenger in the vehicle that flipped over last week.

CATHEDRAL CITY, CA — The 28-year-old man who died in a rollover crash last week was publicly identified by the Riverside County Coroner's Bureau on Thursday, authorities said.
Christopher Rodriguez, of Cathedral City, was a passenger in a silver Honda Civic when it was involved in a fatal crash on Interstate 10 in the predawn hours of Wednesday, March 12, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene when medical personnel arrived on scene around 2:47 a.m., according to the sheriff's department.

Police believe Indio resident John Hernandez, 25, was under the influence while driving the Honda Civic eastbound, west of State Route 62 when the vehicle veered off the roadway and flipped over around 2:20 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol Officer Jonathan Torres.
Hernandez was taken to a hospital, where he was arrested on suspicion of "driving under the influence resulting in fatal injuries," the CHP said.
