Road Work Continues in Palm Desert

From the City of Palm Desert:

The intersection work continues at Portola Avenue and El Paseo on Monday and Tuesday evenings, August 22 and 23, for construction related to improvements at this busy intersection.

Beginning at 7 p.m. each evening, crews will replace the loop detectors on all four legs of the intersection. Work will be completed each morning by 6 a.m. but expect intermittent lane closures to occur during the loop replacements.

Delays are possible and motorists are encouraged to allow extra time or use alternate routes.
