Six Displaced By Mecca House Fire

MECCA, CA — Six people were displaced Saturday morning by a fire that damaged a house in Mecca.

The fire was reported at 2:56 a.m. in the 73000 block of Desertaire Drive, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The home was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived, officials said.

The flames were out at 3:38 a.m., officials said.

No injuries were reported but four adults and two children were displaced by the fire and assisted by the American Red Cross, officials said.
