Suspect Sought In Coachella Valley Teen Killing
The 16-year-old boy was found shot to death in Coachella's 53500 block of Cesar Chavez Street.
COACHELLA, CA — A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot in Coachella last night, and investigators Monday were looking for whoever was responsible.
Deputies from the Thermal sheriff's station responded about 9:10 p.m. Sunday to a report of a deceased male in the 53500 block of Cesar Chavez Street, according to Sgt. Ben Ramirez of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Ramirez said deputies found the teen, who was pronounced dead at the scene, with gunshot wounds. Deputies then secured the area as a crime scene.

The teen's name will not be released, according to Ramirez.
No other information was released as the investigation remained ongoing.
