"Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary," the performer said Friday.

CALIFORNIA — Amid divorce rumors, singer/actress/dancer Jennifer Lopez announced Friday she has canceled her "This Is Me … Live" summer tour.
In a message posted to her website, the 54-year-old known as J.Lo said she was "completely heartsick and devastated" about letting fans down but promised to make it up to them.
"Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary," she said.

In an accompanying statement from Live Nation, which owns Ticketmaster, the company reported, "Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends."
"This Is Me … Live" tickets bought through Ticketmaster will be refunded automatically; fans who purchased tickets through third-party resale sites need to contact those sellers directly, the company said.

Lopez was scheduled to perform at venues across the country. Her now-canceled California summer stops included the Honda Center in Anaheim, Acrisure Arena in the Coachella Valley, Kia Forum in Inglewood, Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, and Chase Center in San Francisco.
Rumors have swirled for weeks that her marriage to actor/director Ben Affleck, 51, is in trouble. Lopez and Affleck dated from about 2002 to 2004, and were briefly engaged before they split. The couple reunited in 2021 and married in July 2022.
Beyond the tabloid headlines, Lopez has kept busy. In addition to parenting twins born in 2008 during her marriage to singer/songwriter Marc Anthony, Lopez currently stars in the sci-fi action thriller "Atlas," which has been the top film on Netflix in the United States since its debut last week. In February, she released a studio album, “This Is Me … Now”; an accompanying musical film, “This Is Me … Now: A Love Story”; and a documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” starring Affleck. The pair also appeared together in an ad for Dunkin’ Donuts that debuted during this year’s Super Bowl.
