Two people were injured Tuesday in a fiery crash on Highway 111 in Coachella, according to Cal Fire.
The two-vehicle crash was reported at 5 p.m. Sept. 3 at Grapefruit Boulevard and Avenue 52, Mark Annas of Cal Fire-Riverside County said in a statement.
Firefighters contained the fire at 5:10 p.m. and at 5:30 p.m. Annas reported two patients were be transported via ground ambulance to an area hospital with moderate injuries.
Agencies that responded included American Medical Response and Coachella police, who are part of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
