Paint El Paseo Pink: Walk to Fight Cancer!

The 10th Annual Paint El Paseo Pink Walk is set for Saturday, October 8.

PALM DESERT, CA – It’s time to register and participate to raise much needed funds at the 10th Annual Paint El Paseo Pink Walk. Stroll the famed El Paseo shopping district with family, friends and even canine companions on Saturday, October 8 starting at 8 am. The event supports, honors, and remembers family and friends diagnosed with breast cancer.

Join us at The Gardens on El Paseo, with registration before the event online at pepp.desertcancerfoundation.org, or on the day of the event at 8 am. The $25 registration fee includes a T-shirt, pink water bottle, snacks, coffee and water. Register early online at pepp.desertcancerfoundation.org, and make plans to attend our pre-walk party, Rock the Ribbon, on Tuesday, October 4 from 5 to 8 pm at the newest hotspot for dining, Big Rock Pub! Or pick up your t-shirt and packet on October 7th, from 11 am to 5pm at The Gardens on El Paseo.

The 2-mile Paint El Paseo Pink walk begins at 9:30 am., on October 8, starting at The Gardens and progressing along El Paseo, from The Gardens to Portola Avenue and Monterey Avenue, and finishes on the lawn of the Gardens on El Paseo. This is a family friendly and dog-friendly event, be sure to keep the pets on a leash and bring doggy bags. And don’t forget to wear pink!

All proceeds raised will benefit Desert Cancer Foundation’s efforts to help Coachella Valley residents who are uninsured or underinsured to obtain screenings, diagnosis and treatment for cancer as well as allied diseases.
