
People at The Living Desert are calling all ghosts, goblins and knee-high superheroes for this year's Howl-O-Ween extravaganza on Saturday Oct. 26 and Sunday Oct. 27.
The event is billed as "a safe and spooky daytime zoo adventure" and it's scheduled 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, according to Living Desert officials.
Howl-O-Ween activities are included in park admission fees:
General Admission $17.25
Seniors (62+) $15.75
Military $15.75
AAA $15.75
Children ages 3 - 12 $8.75
Children under 3 FREE
"Costumed kids of all ages can trick-or-treat in the Wild West town of Berger's Bluff or join in all new activities including pumpkin bowling and decorating, hay maze exploration, batty-bingo and more," Living Desert officials said in an announcement.
"Adding to the fun, keepers will give up-close and personal animal encounters and educational chats. For the little ones, costumed characters will mosey
around Berger's Bluff offering fun photo ops. Children and adults are encouraged to dress up in their best western gear, or their favorite Halloween costume."
