COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — A wind advisory is in effect for parts of Riverside County from 5 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

West winds from 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected in the Riverside County mountains, Coachella Valley, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Palm Desert, La Quinta and Borrego Springs.
