  1. The Palm Springs Police Department has reopened Indian Canyon Drive after days of flooding. The Drive was opened through Whitewater Wash on Saturday afternoon after being closed for a five-day stretch. The flooding resulted from runoff from the storm in San Jacinto and San Bernardino mountains. (Desert Sun)
  2. From March 27 to May 8, a road closure will be in effect on Avenue 50 between Monroe Street and Madison Avenue. The closure will help city officials set up for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and for Stagecoach. This is the first time in the festival's history that the road will be closed leading up to the event in order to protect the safety of workers, residents, and commuters, according to the city of Indio's community services manager. 3. Those who look forward to Glow in the Park only have a month left to enjoy it! Glow in the Park has returned to the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens featuring hundreds of lanterns and hand-crafted displays. There are interactive exhibits for people of all ages to enjoy.
