A man was found deceased from apparent gunshot wounds in the city of Coachella.
COACHELLA, CA — A man was found deceased from apparent gunshot wounds in the city of Coachella, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced Sunday.
Around 3:20 a.m. Saturday, deputies from RCSD's Thermal Station were dispatched to the 51800 block of Shady Lane, east of Grapefruit Boulevard (111), regarding an assault with a deadly weapon.
Upon arrival, the deputies found a deceased victim with gunshot wounds, according to RCSD.

The name of the man was withheld pending notification to next of kin.
