Help make the season brighter — donate a toy and spread joy to local children and families in need this holiday season.
The holiday season is filled with joy, lights and celebration — but for some families, it can also bring stress and financial strain. Thankfully, communities like ours step up each year to help make the season brighter for every child.
Here are some places in and around Palo Alto where you can donate toys, gift cards or holiday essentials to support kids and families in need this year. Be sure to reach out directly to each organization to confirm drop-off hours, deadlines and specific items they’re requesting — most drives ask for new, unwrapped gifts.
City of Palo Alto Holiday Toy Drive
🎁Looking for new and unwrapped toys, books, gift cards and other gifts.
📍Drop-off locations throughout Palo Alto, including the Mitchell Park Community Center, Lucie Stern Community Center and all Palo Alto libraries and fire stations.
📅 Now through December 14, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

Toys For Tots at Rainmaker Real Estate
🎁Looking for new unwrapped toys, books, board games and sports balls.

Jewish Family and Children's Services Gift Drive:
🎁Needs gift cards, LEGO sets, art and science kits, toddler play sets and other gifts for children ranging in age from 6 months to 17 years.
📍Drop-off location: 200 Channing Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94301.
📅Now through December 10
📌You can choose an item from their Amazon gift registry, and it will be delivered directly to their office. Gift cards also welcome.
