The interview is from an August 2023 airing of Freethought Matters.
Phil Zuckerman is Professor of Secular Studies and Sociology at Pitzer College in Claremont, California. Thanks to his pioneering work, Pitzer College was the first college in the United States to offer a secular studies program, created in 2011. Prof. Zuckerman is the author of many groundbreaking books, including Living the Secular Life, Faith No More, Society Without God, and What It Means to Be Moral.

Parents of children ages 3 years - 6th grade are welcomed to join this January tour, to quickly learn key highlights of how Bowman School delivers the Montessori philosophy, and to view Bowman students in action. (Parents only, please.) 
We’ll begin at Bowman East (4000 Terman Drive) with a 30-minute presentation from the Head of School. Then we’ll tour the classrooms for Grades 1-6, before a 5-min walk to see Bowman West at 693 Arastradero (including Children’s House for ages 3-6 years). 
During the tour, prospective parents are encouraged to chat with members of the Admissions team, and with Student and Parent Ambassadors who will also be on hand!
