Cooling Centers Open In Santa Clara County

Temperatures in Silicon Valley are well into the 90s on Tuesday.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — Temperatures across Santa Clara County were into the 90s on Tuesday as summer is ending with one last splash of heat.

Several cooling centers are open for people to escape from the heat. County officials warn that extremely hot weather can lead to heatstroke, heat rash, heat exhaustion and heat cramps.
