Details Released On Stanford Shopping Center Parking Lot Shooting
According to a witness, the suspect got out of the back seat of a white BMW and shot at the victim twice.
PALO ALTO, CA — Police released more details about a shooting at the Stanford Shopping Center parking lot on Thursday night as the suspect remains on the loose.
A man in his 20s sustained non-life threatening injuries after being shot in his hand and foot while returning to his car with his girlfriend on the east side of the shopping center. Police said that the victim is not cooperating with their investigation.
According to a witness, the suspect got out of the back seat of a white BMW and shot at the victim twice. The suspect then got back into the back seat and the car drove away.

The witness described the suspect as a male in a black-hooded sweatshirt, about 5-foot-6 with a slim build.
Police said they haven’t found footage of the incident yet from surveillance video.
