Expect Heavy Traffic In Palo Alto Saturday From Stanford Game
Traffic is expected on Embarcadero Road, El Camino Real and Sand Hill Road beginning mid-afternoon, according to Palo Alto Police.

PALO ALTO, CA — Expect heavy traffic near Stanford Stadium on Saturday night as Stanford football will be in action beginning at 7:30 p.m. against the Washington Huskies.
Traffic is expected on Embarcadero Road, El Camino Real and Sand Hill Road beginning mid-afternoon, according to Palo Alto Police.
Alternatively, fans can take Caltrain to and from the Stanford Stadium Station. Northbound trains depart from San Jose beginning at around 5 p.m. and southbound from San Francisco also around 5 p.m. After the game, trains depart from Stanford Stadium for San Jose at 11:04 p.m. and for San Francisco at 10:51 p.m.

Fans attending the game over the age of 12 must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours. All fans are encouraged, but not required, to wear masks.
Tents will be set up around the stadium where fans must check in to present their vaccine or testing documentation and receive a wristband prior to entering the stadium.
