FAA Airport Noise Study Released By Bay Area Democrats
Hundreds of suggestions are being made to avert noise issues in the South Bay.

PALO ALTO, CA -- California Democratic Reps. Anna Eshoo, Jackie Speier and Jimmy Panetta released last week an updated version of the Federal Aviation Administration’s response to airport noise related to their 18th, 14th and 20th districts, respectively.
The suggestions were made as a result of study by the San Francisco Airport/Community Roundtable and the Select Committee on South Bay Arrivals.
The two bodies developed 104 consensus-based recommendations and sub-recommendations, amounting to a total of 203 items, which the FAA has worked to address to appease the public outcry over the air traffic noise dominating the South Bay including the Peninsula.
