Man Accused Of Burglary At Palo Alto Goodwill Store
Police were tipped off to the incident last week when an alarm tripped, noticing dispatchers.

PALO ALTO, CA — A man was arrested on suspicion of a burglary at a Goodwill store in Palo Alto last Thursday, according to the Palo Alto Police Department.
Desmond Stites, a 55-year-old resident of Amboy, Wash., was charged with felony commercial burglary after being accused of entering the store through an unsecured rear door and stealing items.
Stites was wearing a pair of gloves stolen from the store when he was arrested, according to police.

The incident took place at around 9:23 p.m. on Thursday at Goodwill of Silicon Valley at 4085 El Camino Way.

Stites was booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
