Man Charged With Indecent Exposure At Palo Alto Playground

PALO ALTO, CA — A man was arrested Oct. 10 on suspicion of masturbating at a Palo Alto playground at Pardee Park, according to police.

The man, 33-year-old Uiha Haano Fakapelea of East Palo Alto, was cited with misdemeanor indecent exposure. A woman was walking to the park with two young children when she saw Fakapelea with his pants down at the playground, according to police.

There was nobody else on the playground at the time and the children did not see Fakapelea, police said. The incident occurred after 9 a.m.

Police detained and cited Fakapelea at the playground.
