Palo Alto Honors Fallen Officers During National Police Week
The ceremony was held at Memorial Grove which was dedicated to the police department's fallen officers by the city in 2014.
PALO ALTO, CA — The city of Palo Alto held a ceremony on Tuesday to honor three police officers in the city’s history who were killed in the line of duty for National Police Week.
The ceremony, held adjacent to Memorial Grove, recognized Reserve Officer Lester Cole, Officer Gene Clifton and Reserve Officer Theodore Brassinga.
Memorial Grove, which consists of three big Redwood trees together in Cogswell Plaza, was dedicated to the police department’s fallen officers by the city in 2014.
