Palo Alto Man Charged With Attempted Murder in Mountain View
A Palo Alto man has been arrested in Mountain View and charged with attempted murder after a stabbing that left a person hospitalized.

PALO ALTO, CA -- A Palo Alto man was arrested in Mountain View on Monday night in connection with a stabbing that sent another person to the hospital, police said.
Paul Goldman, 55, was found allegedly attempting to leave the area after police found the victim with several stab wounds in the 1100 block of Phyllis Avenue off of El Camino Real, Mountain View police said Feb. 28.
The incident was reported shortly before 10 p.m. Police said Goldman and the victim knew each other prior to the stabbing.

Phyllis Avenue was closed for several hours as officers investigated but it reopened early Tuesday morning, police said.
Police have not released the victim's name or current medical condition.

Goldman was booked into Santa Clara County Jail this morning on suspicion of attempted murder. He's being held without bail.
