Peeping Tom Suspect Who Watched Young Girls Arrested: Police
The Fremont man had focused on apartments at the Los Robles Avenue complex where young girls lived from July 15 to Aug. 7.

PALO ALTO, CA — Officers arrested a 43-year-old Fremont man Wednesday on suspicion of peeping and prowling with lewd conduct at an apartment complex, the Palo Alto Police Department reported.
The dispatch center received a report that the man identified as Michael Fields had been prowling in the 600 block of Los Robles Avenue The investigation revealed that the man had been peeping into the windows at the apartment complex in the overnight hours. The suspect focused on windows occupied by families where young girls lived. Surveillance video showed the suspect engaging in this behavior more than a dozen times between July 15 and Aug. 7. On at least one occasion, the suspect masturbated, as he was peeping, police added.
Following the investigation, officers secured a probable cause arrest warrant for Fields and discovered he had previously resided at the complex. He faces charges for lewd conduct in a public place and peeping and prowling. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
