Thousands of flags have been installed at Pepperdine University in memory of the thousands who died 11 years ago in the September 11 terrorist attacks.
Scores of people have already turned out to see the Wave of Flags, a powerful display on Pepperdine's front lawn that features 2,977 flags, representing all the people who died in the 9/11 tragedy.
