Possible Threats At 2 Palo Alto Schools Deemed Unfounded
Officers searched two high schools Tuesday after unconfirmed reports of threats made to both campuses.
PALO ALTO, CA — Unconfirmed threats prompted students to shelter in place while police deployed to two Palo Alto school campuses, according to police.
Auhtorities confirmed they were investigating the reported threats at Gunn High School and Palo Alto High School shortly before noon. Less than 30 minutes later, the police department said searches of both schools were complete and no threats were found.
Staffers at both schools lifted the shelter-in-place order, and students were sschuedled to be dismissed at their regularly scheduled time, police said.
