Second Hate Crime Vandalism This Month Found In Palo Alto Garage

PALO ALTO, CA — A second vandalism hate crime this month occurred at a parking garage in downtown Palo Alto, according to the Palo Alto Police Department.
An unknown suspect graffitied the second floor of City Lot “R,” at 528 High Street, with a racial epithet directed at Black people and an anti-Jewish symbol using a black marker.
Police were informed of the graffiti by a passerby on Friday, but they believe the crime occurred sometime since Sept. 15, when a similar vandalism was found in the garage.
