Volunteers Sought At Foothills Nature Preserve In Palo Alto

PALO ALTO, CA — Volunteers are needed at Foothills Nature Preserve on Saturday to help remove invasive plants and weeds.

The work will help restore the essential waterway and wildlife corridor at the preserve, according to the city of Palo Alto.

The plants and weeds are in planting areas with California native plants. Volunteers are expected to use small handheld tools and gloves, which will be provided.

Volunteers are needed between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Saturday. The meeting point is the Foothills Nature Preserve Interpretive Center at 3300 Page Mill Road.
