San Mateo police sent out an advisory shortly before 8 a.m. about the water main break in the area of South El Camino Real and Notre Dame Avenue.Police have closed two lanes of southbound El Camino Real in the area.Staff at the St. Matthew Catholic School, located at 910 S. El Camino Real, confirmed that the campus has closed for the day as a result of the broken water main. School officials plan to reopen Friday morning if possible.
