Bike Center to Hold Ride for Kids on Saturday

To celebrate a day devoted to taking kids mountain biking, the Palos Verdes Bicycle Center will hold a "Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day Event" on Saturday.

The event will be held at 10 a.m. and begin in the parking lot of the bike center. Kids ages 5-12 and their parents are welcome. Kids and parents should bring a bike, helmet and full water bottle.

Groups will ride on flat trails. Those who do not have a bike or helmet can contact the shop at 310-377-7441 to inquire about loaners.

Giveaways and snacks will be offered at the shop after the ride. For more information email events@pvbike.com.
