The average price of self-serve regular gasoline in the Long Beach-Los Angeles region is $3.604 per gallon, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California’s Weekend Gas Watch.
That's 10.2 cents more than a week ago, 25 cents higher than last month, and 66 cents higher than a year ago.Â

Prices for a gallon of regular elsewhere in the state: Orange County, $3.596; the Inland Empire, $3.580; San Diego, $3.618; and the Central Coast, $3.640.
According to MapQuest, the lowest price for gas in the U.S. is $2.74 and the highest is $4.33.
