'Colbert Report' Revisits Trump Flagpole Flap
A 2008 video segment focusing on RPV's Trump National Golf Club was re-run during Tuesday night's show.

In light of Donald Trump's flirtation with a presidential run, a 2008 segment on a controversial 70-foot flagpole erected at in Rancho Palos Verdes was featured on Comedy Central's "Colbert Report" Tuesday night.
On the show hosted by Stephen Colbert, Donald Trump was featured in the "Difference Maker" segment for having "the courage and generosity to erect a huge flagpole on his golf course."
Trump says in the segment that he does not know what the American flag's 13 stripes represent.

Also featured in the segment was Councilman Douglas Stern, then mayor of Rancho Palos Verdes, who objected to the height of the flagpole.
"You don't always have to put up a huge flag just because you can," Stern says in the segment.
