DUI Suspect Arrested After Crash In Palos Verdes Estates

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA — A DUI suspect was arrested after crashing in Palos Verdes Estates, police said Friday.
Officers said they received a report of a single-car crash in the 100 block of Palos Verdes Drive West at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
Photos shared by the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department on Instagram show a red sedan with heavy damage to the front of the car near the American flags on display in the Malaga Cove Triangle.

The driver, who was not hurt, was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
“We share incidents like these to remind our community that impaired driving can have consequences far more serious than an arrest,” the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department posted. “Please do not drink and drive.”
