Daniella Segura, Patch Staff

I am a local editor with Patch, covering the communities of Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes, Long Beach and Santa Monica.

Before joining Patch, I worked as a national reporter with McClatchy News, where I covered the West Coast with a focus on Southern California. I have also worked and freelanced for newspapers in the South Bay, including the Beach Reporter and Daily Breeze. My work has been recognized by the California News Publishers Association.

I moved to the South Bay after graduating from UC Berkeley and stayed in the area while I got my master’s in journalism from the University of Southern California. Aside from a short stint as an intern at a newspaper in Washington, I’ve called the South Bay my home.
