Firefighters Knock Down Boat Fire In San Pedro

SAN PEDRO, CA — Firefighters knocked down two fully engulfed vessels in San Pedro Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Two power vessels, both approximately 30 feet long, were reported on fire about 2:35 p.m. Wednesday at1500 E Anchorage Road, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department. No injuries were reported and no one was inside the vessels.

It took about 30 minutes for 32 firefighters to knock down the flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, Prange said.
