LA County Animal Care And Control Waives Cat Adoption Fees

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control is waiving cat adoption fees in September to encourage people to adopt furry friends and find their forever homes.

The department is hoping to get more cats out of its care centers and into homes. It's part of a program sponsored by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

This waiver does not include license and trust deposit fees. Appointments are available. Walk-ins are not accepted. More information is available at animalcare.lacounty.gov.
