Ladera Linda Community Park To Celebrate Grand Opening

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Ten years after it was proposed, the Ladera Linda Community Park will finally be open to the public.

The community has been in progress since 2014 and will celebrate its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Feb. 23 at 3:30 p.m. The ceremony will include guest speakers, interactive stations for kids and activities led by city staff.

Progress for the park began in 2014 and construction officially began in 2022.

Just last week, the construction contractor programmed the security, audio and video systems and made various minor corrections before the grand opening event. This week, final inspections took place and corrections were made.

When the park opens, it will include a playground, a Discovery Room and tennis courts.
