Master Plan for Road Safety in the Works for Palos Verdes Peninsula

The Roadway Safety Master Plan would deal with city-specific issues as well as Peninsula-wide problems.

PALOS VERDES, CA -- Efforts are underway to create a master man to address traffic and safety issues on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, the Daily Breeze reported.

The Roadway Safety Master Plan, which includes Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes and Rolling Hills Estates, would deal with city-specific issues as well as Peninsula-wide problems, according to the Daily Breeze.

“The thing about it is ... transportation doesn’t stop at city borders, so to have a plan that encompasses all the roads that fall within all the jurisdictions is beneficial,” Rancho Palos Verdes' deputy director of public Nicole Jules told the Breeze.
