New Summer Camps Offered Through RPV

The nature-related camps will begin in August.

Two new summer camps will be offered by the City of Rancho Palos Verdes as part of a partnership between the City and the Santa Monica Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority.

Two week-long camps for children ages 7-12 will meet 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday at the , 32201 Forrestal Drive in Rancho Palos Verdes.

The fee is $175 per child per camp.

Camp information:

  • Awesomely Amazing Adaptations Camp (Aug. 15-19): A look into interesting plants and animals. Children will make crafts and participate in educational games, nature activities and team building exercises. Snacks will be provided.
  • Underwater Adventures Camp (Aug. 22-26): An exploration of plants and animals. Children will make crafts and participate in educational games, nature activities and team building exercises. A field trip to the tide pools at will also be offered. Snacks will be provided.
