Peninsula HS to Hold First 20th Reunion
Students who graduated from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in 1992 will attend their 20-year reunion Saturday.
Students from 's inaugural graduating class will convene for their 20th reunion at the South Coast Botanic Garden from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
The former students—who spent their senior year at Peninsula after attending Miraleste, Palos Verdes and Rolling Hills high schools—graduated in 1992 after what current Peninsula Principal Mitzi Cress told the Daily Breeze was a "traumatic transition."
"Families that got along suddenly weren't speaking to each other," Cress told Breeze reporter Rob Kuznia. "It became the Hatfields and the McCoys."

Three mini-reunions are also planned on Friday before Saturday's main event, according to the Daily Breeze. Rolling Hills students will meet at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach; Palos Verdes students will meet at the Lighthouse Cafe in Hermosa Beach; and Miraleste students will meet at .
Saturday's reunion tickets—which include dinner and two drinks—cost $95 per person and can be purchased at pvphs20.com.
