Here are some things to look forward to today on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Happy Wednesday! Here are five things Palos Verdes residents should know today:

In Palos Verdes Estates, crews will be resurfacing Horcada Lane; Via Horcada; Palos Verdes Drive West (hill side) between Via Corta and Paseo Del Mar; and Palos Verdes Drive North eastbound lanes between Via Alameda and the triangle area. Crews will keep at least one lane open on Palos Verdes Drive West at all times.
In an event sponsored by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Republican Assembly at the Palos Verdes Peninsula Library, Dr. John Eastman will discuss the conservative view on Proposition 8 and same-sex marriage.
